Service 11, 6A, X4 | Great Western Road, Knightwood Road | Disruption *Updated: 14:05*

To allow for resurfacing works on Wednesday 19th August until Wednesday 2nd September Great Western Road inside/outside lanes will be closed in phases affecting the GWR/Lincoln Avenue junction.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 3 from Drumchapel:

The services are diverting via Great Western Road at Lincoln Avenue, Great Western Road, Archerhill Road, Lincoln Avenue, normal route.

Bank Street Coatbridge

Service 201

To allow for resurfacing on Saturday 22nd August until Sunday 23rd August and Saturday 29th August until Sunday 30th August Bank Street will be closed. Works over 2 weekends

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 201 towards Petersburn.                                                  

The services are diverting via Whifflet Street at Dundyvan Road, Whifflet Street, Coatbank Street, South Circular Road, South Circular Road, The fountain, South Circular Road and normal route.

Service 201 towards Hairmyres.                                                   

The services are diverting via South Circular Road, The fountain circle the roundabout and back on South Circular Road, 2nd exit at roundabout South Circular Road, 3rd exit at roundabout Coatbank Street, cat roundabout, Coatbank Street,  Whifflet Street to the normal route.

Pollokshaws Road at Haggs Road

Services 57 and 57A to/from Kennishead/Silverburn

To allow for resurfacing works on Monday 24th August 07:00 until Sunday 6th September, Pollokshaws Road between Hector Road and Haggs Road.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

The services are diverting via Thornliebank Road to Pollokshaws Roundabout, Nether Auldhouse Road, Kilmarnock Road onto Pollokshaws Road normal route.

57 57A & X8 towards Kennishead/Silverburn use above diversions.

North Hanover Street after Cowcaddens Road, towards Springburn Road.

Service 87, 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B.

To allow for resurfacing Works on Thursday 20th August until Tuesday 1st September North Hanover Street will be closed between 19:00 and 07:00 each night excluding Saturday and Sunday Nights..

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 87, 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B, from Buchanan Bus Station towards Springburn Road:           

The services are diverting via Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, Stirling Road, Springburn Expressway to the normal route.

Services 87, 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B towards Buchanan Bus Station:

The services are diverting via Charles Street, Royston Road, Castle Street, Cathedral Street, North Hanover Street, Killermont Street to BBS.

Bothwell Street Wellington Street

Service 500 & X8.

To allow for filming on Thursday 20th  August and Friday 21st August between 19:00 and 06:00 each night, M8 J19 off slip to Bothwell Street and Wellington Street will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 & X8 towards Buchanan Bus Station.                                                                      

The services are diverting via M8,  M74, A8/Tradeston, Paisley Road, Kingston Street, Commerce Street, Oswald Street, Hope Street normal route.                                                                              

Customers will be dropped off/pick up on Hope Street opp Central Station

Services 500 & X8 towards M8    

The services are diverting via Renfield Street at St Vincent Street, Renfield Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street, Midland Street, Oswald Street, Hope Street, Waterloo Street, normal route.

Bothwell Street off slip Wellington Street and St Vincent Street.

Services 500, X8 & 2.

To allow for filming on Saturday 22nd August between 19:00 and 06:00, M8 J19 Bothwell Street off-slip to Wellington Street and St Vincent Street will be closed.

During the closure, the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 & X8 towards Buchanan Bus Station.                                                                   

The services are diverting via the M8, M74 and exit A8/Tradeston, Paisley Road, Kingston Street, Commerce Street, Oswald Street, and Hope Street, then the normal route.                                                                              

Services 500 & X8 towards M8,                                                        

The services are diverting via Renfield Street at St Vincent Street, Renfield Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street,  Midland Street, Oswald Street, Hope Street, Waterloo Street, normal route.

Service 2 towards Faifley,                                                                

The services are diverting via Hope Street at St Vincent Street and continue on Hope Street, Bath Street, Newton Street, St Vincent Street, the normal route.

To allow for Glasgow City Council Avenues works on Tuesday 4th August until Sunday 11th October, Queen Street at St Vincent Place will be closed until works are completed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 6 towards Hope Street

The services are diverting via Stockwell Street at Stockwell Place, Stockwell Place, Howard Street, Jamaica Street, Midland Street, Oswald Street Hope Street normal route. 

Please observe bus stop on Stockwell Place.

Bothwell Street off slip Wellington Street and St Vincent Street.

Services 500, X8 & 2

To allow for filming on Sunday 23rd August between 19:00 and 06:00, Bothwell Street, Wellington Street and St Vincent Street will be closed.

During the closure, the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 & X8 towards Buchanan Bus Station.                    

The services are diverting via Bothwell Street, Pitt Street, and West George Street normal route, then the X8 will continue via Hope Street normal route.

Services 500 & X8 towards M8,                                                        

The services are diverting via Renfield Street at St Vincent Street, Renfield Street, Union Street, Jamaica Street, Midland Street, Oswald Street, Hope Street, Waterloo Street, normal route.

Service 2 towards Faifley,                                                                

The services are diverting via Hope Street at St Vincent Street and continuing on Hope Street, Bath Street, Newton Street, and St Vincent Street, the normal route.

Service 141 Thornwood Avenue

To allow for emergency works, Thornwood Avenue is closed from Friday 17th July until works have been completed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 141 towards Gartnavel Hospital: Normal route Dumbarton Road at Thornwood Avenue continue onto Broomhill Drive then normal route.

Service 141 towards Partick: Normal route Broomhill Drive at Thornwood Roundabout, onto Dumbarton Road then normal route.

Service X11 Newmains Roundabout

To allow for Scottish Gas Works on Monday 13th July until Wednesday 16th September, Bonkle Road will be closed at Newmains roundabout and 4-way temp lights will be at location.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service X11 Towards Newmains: Normal route Manse Road at School Road, Newmains Roundabout onto Manse Road.
