Gallowhill Road has now reopened and services returning to normal

Road traffic collision on Gallowhill Road 

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 88 & 88A towards Harestanes
Normal route Crosshill Road at Cole Road, 1st exit at roundabout into Cole Road, 3rd exit at roundabout into Kirkintilloch Road, Glasgow Road, 1st exit at roundabout continuing Glasgow Road, right into New Lairdsland Road, 3rd exit at roundabout into Industry Street, right into Townhead, normal route.

Service 88 & 88A towards Buchanan Bus Station
Normal route to Cowgate, Townhead, left into Industry Street, 1st exit at roundabout into New Lairdsland Road, left into Glasgow Road, 2nd exit at roundabout continuing Glasgow Road, Kirkintilloch Road, 1st exit at roundabout into Cole Road, 2nd exit at roundabout into Crosshill Road, normal route. 

Service 201

Due to badly parked cars at Strathnairn Avenue, buses are unable to access the Hospital at this time.

Services will miss out the Hospital and serve the stops on Eaglesham road until further notice.

Updated 11:45 - the road has now opened and services have returned to their normal route. 

Service 242

Heathery Road, Wishawhill is closed due to an unplanned road closure.

These works are expected to be in place for 2-3 weeks.

Services 57, 57A, 87, 88, 89, 90, 75 | A803 Springburn Expressway Southbound

To allow for cleaning works, from Wednesday 29th October 20:00 until Thursday 30th October 06:00, Springburn Expressway Southbound will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 57, 87, 88, 89, 90:

Diverting via Fountain well Road, St Rollox Drive, Keppochhill Road, Pinkston Road

Service 87, 88, 89 towards BBS:

Diverting via Pinkston Road and Baird Street

Service 90: 

Diverting via Pinkston Road, Baird Street, Castle Street and Alexandra Parade.

Service 65 is diverting using the route below: 

The service is diverting via Greenlees Rd, Vicarland Rd, Croft Rd, Hamilton Rd.

In both directions.

The road is expected to be open by Wednesday afternoon.

Great Western Road

To allow for repairs, from Thursday 30th of October 20:30 until Friday 31st October 06:00, this stop will be out of use.

To allow for works, on Thursday 30th October 21:00 until Friday 31st October 06:00, Great Western Road Westbound at Gartnavel Hospital will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 6 & 6A towards Clydebank/Drumchapel:

Great Western Road, Cleveden Road & Dorchester Avenue.

Normal route Eastbound towards City Centre.

Phillipshill Roundabout

To allow for lining works, on Friday 31st October between 09:30 & 16:00 this stop will be out of use.

A726 Phillipshill Roundabout Eastbound On Slip Towards East Kilbride Service 6

To allow for lining works, on Friday 31st October 10:00 until 16:00, the on slip at Phillipshill roundabout onto Queensway heading to East Kilbride will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 6 towards East Kilbride:

From A727 East Kilbride Road & Queensway.

M8 J28 On Slip Eastbound Closure Service 500

To allow for lighting works, on Wednesday 29th October 20:00 until Thursday 30th October 06:00, M8 J28 Eastbound on slip will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Sanderling Road, M8 Westbound (Linwood) ,St James interchange & M8 Eastbound.
