Hamilton Parade – Saturday 5th July

Due to a large Parade on Saturday 5th July, the following services will be diverted from 12:00.

Service 201 towards Hairmyres (from 12:00)

Normal route Hamilton Road, join A723 then left slip onto M74 NB (keep right) continue M74, exit at Junction 5 for Raith Interchange, 1st exit onto A725 East Kilbride Expressway, exit slip onto Whistleberry Road, continue thru mini-roundabout, 1st exit at Glasgow Road roundabout, Glasgow Road, continue thru next 2 roundabouts, right High Blantyre Road, normal route.

Service 201 towards Motherwell (from 12:00)

Normal route High Blantyre Road, left slip onto Glasgow Road, continue thru next 3 roundabouts, right onto A725 East Kilbride Expressway, follow signage for Bothwell/Hamilton and exit at slip, right Bellshill Bypass to Raith Interchange roundabout, 4th exit at roundabout, onto M74 on-slip, exit at Junction 6 for Motherwell (keep left), onto A723, normal route.

Service 226 towards Fairhill – From 05:00

Normal route to Low Waters Road, 3rd exit onto Mill Road, thru next roundabout, left Millgate Road, right Neilsland Square (after Trinity Church), right Neilsland Road, left Burnhouse Road, Swisscot Avenue (terminate here).

From 12:00 towards Fairhill – Service will remain at Hamilton Bus Station and then recommence service towards Hillhouse at departure time.

Service 226 towards Town Centre/Hillhouse – From 05:00

Start Swisscot Avenue, right Woodhead Crescent, left Swisscot Avenue, Burnhouse Road, right Neilsland Road, left Neilsland Square (at Trinity Church), left Millgate Road, right Mill Road, thru roundabout, 1st exit at next roundabout, Low Waters Road, normal route.

Service 229 towards Eddlewood

Journeys between 12:00 and 16:00 will not operate due to Parade and no alternative route. Please remain at Hamilton Bus Station. The 11:32 departure to Eddlewood will operate as normal.

Service 247

12:20 departure from M&D’s – Normal route to last bus stop on Hamilton Road before Strathclyde Park, this is the last stop. Service will recommence on Hamilton Road back to M&D's.

13:30 departure from M&D’s – Terminates at Brandon Parade.

15:20 departure from M&D’s – Normal route to last bus stop on Hamilton Road before Strathclyde Park, this is the last stop. Service will recommence on Hamilton Road back to M&D's.

Service 255 towards Hamilton Bus Station (from 12:00)

Normal route Hamilton Road, left Bellshill Bypass to Raith Interchange, 5th exit at Raith Interchange onto A725 East Kilbride Expressway, exit slip onto Whistleberry Road, continue thru mini-roundabout, 1st exit at Glasgow Road roundabout, Glasgow Road, continue thru next 2 roundabouts, left slip onto Burnbank Road, continue thru next roundabout, Burnbank Road, Peacock Cross, Union Street, right Hamilton Bus Station.

Service 255 towards Buchanan Bus Station (from 05:00 – 12:00)

Normal route Cadzow Street, right Lower Auchingramont Road, left Muir Street normal route.

Service 255 towards Buchanan Bus Station (from 12:00)

Exit Hamilton Bus Station, left Union Street, Peacock Cross, Burnbank Road, right onto Glasgow Road, thru next 3 roundabouts, right onto A725 East Kilbride Expressway, follow signage for Bothwell/Hamilton and exit at slip, left Bellshill Bypass, right Hamilton Road, normal route.

Service 266 towards Motherwell & departure to Newmains/Shotts (from 12:00)

Normal route to last bus stop on Hamilton Road before Strathclyde Park, this is the last stop. 

This service will recommence on Hamilton Road towards Newmains/Shotts, this is the last stop.
