Great Scottish Run, 5th October 2025

To allow for the Great Scottish Run Event, on Sunday 5th October 04:00 until 17:30, (or earlier), there will be various road closures in the City Centre.

Diversions as follows: 

Service 1, 1A, 1C & X4 towards City Centre:
Normal route Argyle Street, Jamaica Street and terminate at bus stop.
Then depart for the next trip via Midland Street and Oswald Street.

Service 2 towards Baillieston:
Normal route Argyle Street, Sauchiehall Street, Rose Street, Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, High Street and Gallowgate. 

Service 2 towards Faifley:
Normal route London Road, Glasgow Cross, High Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Street, Bath Street, Berkeley Street, Claremont Street, Sauchiehall Street and Argyle Street. 

Service 3 towards Govan:
Normal route Renfrew Street, Hope Street Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, M8 West, exit J20, West Street, Wallace Street and Eglinton Street. 

Service 3 towards Drumchapel:
Normal route Eglinton Street, Cumberland Street, Laurieston Road, Ballater Street, Kings Drive, Arcadia Street, London Road,  Glasgow Cross, High Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Street and Bath Street. 

Services 4, 4A towards Clarkston:
Normal route to Sauchiehall Street at Blythswood Street,into Rose Street, Renfrew Street, Hope Street, Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, M8 West, and exit junction 20 (West Street), Wallace Street and Eglinton Street. 

Services 4, 4A towards Broomhill:
Normal route Pollokshaws Road at Devon Street, continue Pollokshaws Road, Gorbals Street, Ballater Street, Kings Drive, Arcadia Street, London Road to Glasgow Cross, High Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Street and Bath Street. 

Service 5 & 7A towards Osborne St:
Normal route to Gorbals Street, Ballater Street, Laurieston Road and take layover at the temporary stop.

Service 5 & 7A  towards Castlemilk/Rutherglen:
From Laurieston Road, Cathcart Road and Pollokshaws Road. 

Service 6A towards City Centre:
Normal route to Renfrew Street and terminate.

Service 6A towards Drumchapel:
From Renfrew Street and Hope Street. 

Service 6 towards Calderwood:
Normal route Renfrew Street, Hope Street, Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, M8 West, exit J20, West Street, Wallace Street, Eglinton Street, Devon Street and Pollokshaws Road. 

Service 6 towards Clydebank:
Normal route Gorbals Street, Ballater Street, Kings Drive, Arcadia Street, London Road, Glasgow Cross, High Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Street, Bath Street and Hope Street. 

Service 7 towards Summerston:

Service 7 towards Rutherglen:
Normal route to Renfrew Street,  Hope Street, Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, M8 West, take the exit for J20, West Street, Wallace Street, Eglinton Street, Devon Street and Pollokshaws Road. 

Services 9, & 9A towards Buchanan Bus Station:
Normal route to Paisley Road West, Helen Street, J24 M8 East, continue M8 and exit at J15 (Springburn), slip road for A803 Port Dundas, Baird Street, Kyle Street, North Hanover Street and Killermont Street into BBS.

Services 9, & 9A towards Paisley/Penilee/Braehead:
From BBS, Killermont Street, West Nile Street, Port Dundas Road, Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, M8 West, continue M8 and exit J24, Helen Street and Paisley Road West. 

Service 10 towards West Regent Street:
Normal route to Paisley Road West, Helen Street, slip road J24 M8 East, continue M8 and exit at J15 (Springburn),  into slip road for A803 Port Dundas, Baird Street, Kyle Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, Bath Street, Renfield Street and West Regent Street.

Service 10 towards Silverburn:
From West Regent Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street, Hope Street, Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, slip road for M8 West, continue M8 and exit J24, Helen Street and Paisley Road West. 

Service 18, 18A & 263 towards City Centre:
Normal route London Road, Abercromby Street, Bellgrove Street, Duke Street and High Street. 

Service 18, 18A & 263 from City Centre:
From High Street, continue High Street, at Glasgow Cross and Gallowgate. 

Service 21 & 267 towards City Centre:
Normal route to Gorbals Street, Ballater Street, Laurieston Road and take layover at the temporary stop.

Service 21 & 267 towards East Kilbride/Hamilton:
From Laurieston Road and Cathcart Road. 

Service 34 towards Govan:
Normal route Minard Road, Dinmont Road, Moss-side Road, Pollokshaws Road,Barrhead Road, Braidcraft Road,Corkerhill Road and Mosspark Boulevard. 

Service 34 towards Castlemilk:
Normal route Mosspark Boulevard, Corkerhill Road, Braidcraft Road, Barrhead Road, Pollokshaws Road, Moss-side Road, Dinmont Road and Minard Road. 

Service 38, 38A, 38B, & 38C towards Shawlands:
Normal route Bath Street at Renfield Street, continue Bath Street, right into Hope Street, left into Cowcaddens Road, veer left into West Graham Street, right into slip road for M8 West, exit J20 (West Street), left into West Street, right into Wallace Street, right into Eglinton Street, normal route.

Services 38, 38A, 38B, & 38C towards Alexandra Parade:
Normal route Eglinton Street, Cumberland Street, Laurieston Road, Ballater Street, Kings Drive, Arcadia Street, London Road to Glasgow Cross, High Street, Castle Street, normal route. Service bus stop opposite Royal Infirmary.

Passengers are advised that for onward travel to the City Centre to transfer onto City-bound services on Castle Street.

Services that are due to start on Hope Street follow the diversion route and start on Castle Street opposite the Royal Infirmary.

Service 41 towards West Regent St:
Normal route Duke Street, John Knox Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Street, Bath Street, Renfield Street and West Regent Street to terminus.

Service 41 towards Easterhouse:
From West Regent Street, George Square, North Frederick Street, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, John Knox Street and Duke Street. 
Bus stop on North Frederick Street will be served. 

Service 57 & 57A towards Silverburn/Kennishead:                                                   
normal route Bath Street, Hope Street, Cowcaddens Road, West Graham Street, into slip road for M8 West, exit J20, West Street, Wallace Street and Eglinton Street. 

Services 57 & 57A towards Westerhill/Balornock:                                               
normal route Eglinton Street, Cumberland Street, Laurieston Road, Ballater Street, Kings Drive, Arcadia Street, London Road to Glasgow Cross, High Street, Castle Street, Glebe Street, continue Springburn Expressway Northbound. 

Passengers are advised that on High Street before John Knox Street that the next stop will be on Springburn Road at St Rollox.

Board 57/47 that is due to start on Jamaica Street, start on Eglinton Street via Cathcart Road, left into Cumberland Street, left into Eglinton Street from depot.

Services 60, 60A & 61 towards Maryhill:
