Glasgow City Centre Disruption

To allow for resurfacing works, from Monday the 16th of March 08:00 until the 22nd of March 2026 20:00, Ashgill Road will be closed between Ashfield Street and Colston Road.​

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 75 towards Milton:​

Normal route to Hawthorn Street at Ashfield Street, Hawthorn Street, Springburn Road, Colston Road, Ashgill Road, and the normal route.​

Service 75 towards Castlemilk:​

Normal route to Ashgill Road at Colston Road, Springburn Road, Hawthorn Street and the normal route.​

Due to a fire in the City Centre on Sunday the 8th of March, many streets are closed until further notice:

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation.

Service: 60, 60A, 61, towards Parkhead

Normal route to Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, High Street, Gallowgate and normal route. ​

Services 240 255 263 267 From BBS

Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, High Street.

After this the service 240, 255 and 263 will then operate via Gallowgate and to the normal route.

Service 267 will then operate Stockwell Street and normal route.​

 Service 398

Normal route to Renfield Street, West George and the West Nile Follow(missing out Gordon Street and Hope Street).​

Normal route Renfield Street, St Vincent Street, Newton Street, M8 West Bound , J20 West Street, West Street, Morrison Street and the normal route​.

Service 18 18A towards East Kilbride

Normal route to Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, High Street, Glasgow Cross and normal route​.

Service 21 from Cochrane Street

Normal Route to Cochrane Street, South Frederick Street, Ingram Street and the normal route​.

Service: 38, 38A, 38B, 38C, 38E, 57, 57A Towards Shawlands

Normal route to Renfield Street, St Vincent Street,  Newton Street, M8 West Bound, J20 West Street, Wallace Street, Coburg Street, Norfolk Street, Eglinton Street and the normal route​.

Service 3

To Govan, Renfield Street, St Vincent Street, Newton Street, M8 West Bound, J20 West Street, Wallace Street, Coburg Street, Norfolk Street, Eglinton Street and the normal route​.

Service 4 and 4A towards Victoria Road:

Normal route to Renfield Street, St Vincent Street, Newton Street, J20 West Street, Wallace Street, Coburg Street, Bridge Street underground) Norfolk Street, Eglinton Street and the normal route​.

Service 6 towards EK

Normal route to Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Street, High Street, Trongate,  Stockwell Street and normal route.

Service 7, 7A and 75 Towards Gorbals

Normal route to Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, NorthHanover Street, Cathedral Street, High Street, Trongate, Stockwell and the normal route.

Due to disruption at Trongate at Stockwell Street/Glassford Street, the following services will divert via:

Saltmarket, Clyde Street & the Stockwell Street.

To allow for resurfacing works on Saturday 14th March until Thursday 19th March, Milngavie Road at Main Street will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 60A towards Milngavie: Normal route Maryhill Road, Canniesburn Toll, Drymen Road, Stockiemuir Road, Craigdhu Road, Dumgoyne Avenue normal route.

Service 60A towards City: Normal route Dumgoyne Avenue at Craigdhu Road, Craigdhu Road, Stockiemuir Road, Drymen Road, Canniesburn Toll onto Maryhill Road, normal route.

Due to the closure of Union Street, night services will be diverted until further notice:

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.​

N2 towards Glasgow X:​

Normal route, West Regent Street, Renfield Street, West Regent Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street, CathedralStreet, Castle Street, High Street, Ingram Street, Glassford Street & the normal route.​

N18, N240 & N267 towards Glasgow X/Stockwell Street:​

Normal route, Renfield Street, West Regent Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, High Street, Ingram Street, Glassford Street & the normal route.​

Crossgates 

To allow for resurfacing works, from Thursday 12th March until Saturday 21st March, this stop will be out of use. 

The nearest alternative stops are located: 

Service 240 & N240 

Hamilton Road at Neilson Street 

Bellshill Road after Calder Road 

To allow for resurfacing works, from Thursday the 12th of March until the 21st of March, Crossgates will be closed.​

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.​

Service 240 & N240 towards Motherwell:​

Normal route Hamilton Road, Neilson Street, Motherwell Road, John Street, Thorn Road, Main Street, Calder Road, & Bellshill Road to the normal route.
