George Street / 41 / DIVERSION / Until further notice

To allow for emergency water repairs, until the works are complete, George Street between High Street and Albion Street will be closed.​

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 41 towards West Regent Street:​

Duke Street at High Street, Ingram Street, Montrose Street, Cochrane Street & normal route.​

Service 41 towards Easterhouse:​

George Street at Montrose Street, Ingram Street, High Street, Duke Street & normal route.​

Due to an incident on Stirling Road, the 38’s, 57’s, X3, X11, X85, X87 services will divert via Cathedral Street & Castle Street until further notice.

Towards Newarthill

Normal route to Merry Street, A723, Loanhead Road, Glenmore Road & normal route.

Towards Motherwell 

Normal route to Glenmore Road, Loanhead Road, A723 through & normal route.

Services to remain on diversion.

Due to a non-departmental road traffic collision, services will divert as follows: 

Services X3, X85 & X87 towards M8 via Cathedral Street, Castle Street, Glebe Street to M8 on slip East Bound.

Services 57 & 57A towards Springburn Road via Cathedral Street, Castle Street, Glebe Street, normal route.

Services 19, 38, 38A, 38B, 38C & 38E via Cathedral Street, Castle Street, normal route.

 Argyle Street closed due to roadworks. 

Towards Clydeside Expressway via Howard Street, Jamaica Street, Broomielaw, Anderston Quay, Lancefield Quay, Finnieston Quay, Congress Way and on slip to Clydeside Expressway normal route.

Service 1C | Alderman Road

To allow for resurfacing works on Friday 14th November 07:30 until Wednesday 19th November 06:00 Alderman Road will be closed

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 1C towards Drumchapel diverting via Dumbarton Road at Anniesland Road, Dumbarton Road, Dyke Road, Alderman Road normal route.

Service 1C towards City diverting via Alderman Road at Dyke Road, Dyke Road, Dumbarton Road normal route.

To allow for re-surfacing works on Monday 10th November 08:30 until Saturday 15th November 06:00, Crow Road between Clarence Drive and Laurel Street will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in place:

Service 16 to Blairdardie:

Dumbarton Road at Crow Road, continue Dumbarton Road, 4th exit at Thorrnwood roundabout into Broomhill Drive, left into Crow Road, normal route.

Service 16 to QEUH:

Crow Road at Broomhill Drive, right into Broomhill Drive, 1st exit at Thornwood roundabout into Dumbarton Road, normal route.

Service 242

Heathery Road, Wishawhill is closed due to an unplanned road closure.

These works are expected to be in place for 2-3 weeks.

Service 4A | Hill Drive, Eaglesham | Resurfacing Works

To allow for resurfacing works, from Monday 27th October until Friday 14th November between 08:30 and 16:00 each day, Hill Drive will be closed.

During the closure all stops the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 4A towards Eaglesham: Normal route Gilmour Street, Polnoon Street, Montgomery Street, Gilmour Street and take recovery at first stop, then normal route.

Hillington Road

To allow for major works on Hillington Interchange, the 9A service from Braehead will not serve Penilee/Hillington Industrial Estate between 20:00-06:00 nightly on these dates:

Passengers wishing to get to Penilee/Hillington Industrial Estate will have to use last stop on Kings Inch Road or Paisley Road West at Morrisons and 9A to Penilee.
