Clydeside Expressway / 1,1A,1C & X4 / DIVERSION / Until further notice

Due to the closure of Clydeside Expressway, the following services will be diverting as follows:

Services 1, 1A, 1C & X4 towards City Centre:

Clydeside Expressway, Partick (Broomhill Whiteinch), Thornwood Roundabout, Sawmill Road, Castlebank Street, Stobcross Road, Finnieston Street, Lancefield Quay, Anderston Quay, Broomielaw, Oswald Street, Argyle Street & the normal route.

A814 Clydeside Expressway Westbound Closure - Service 1, 1A, 1C, X4 Scotstoun​

To allow for resurfacing works, from Tuesday 25th November until Sunday morning the 30th of November between 23:00 and 06:00 each night, Clydeside Expressway Westbound will be closed​

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.​

Service 1, 1A, 1C & X4 towards Scotstoun:​

Clydeside Expressway, Finnieston Street, Finnieston Street, Stobcross Road, Congress Way, Stobcross Road, Pointhouse Road, Castlebank Street, Hayburn Street, Clydeside Expressway West & normal route.​

To allow for resurfacing works, from Monday 24th November 09:00 until Tuesday 2nd December 20:00, Shields Road will be closed.​

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.​

Service 90 towards QEUH:​

Nithsdale Road at St Andrews Drive, Dumbreck Road, J23 M8 Eastbound, J21 Kinning Park, Seaward Street & normal route.​

Service 90 towards Partick:​

Seaward Street, M8 Westbound towards Greenock, J23 Ibrox, Dumbreck Road, Nithsdale Road & normal route​.

Due to works on Douglas Street, the 18/A will use Holland Street as Terminus until further notice.

Crow Road Closure

To allow for re-surfacing works on Wednesday 12th November 08:30 until Wednesday 19th November 06:00, Crow road between Clarence Drive and Laurel Street will be closed.

Services affected: 16 

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in place.

Service 16 To Blairdardie:                                               
Dumbarton Road at Crow Road, Dumbarton Road, Thornwood Roundabout, Broomhill Drive, Crow Road & normal route.

Service 16 to QEUH:                                                         
Crow Road at Broomhill Drive, Thornwood Roundabout into Dumbarton Road & normal route.

Due to delays, works have been extended and the road will reopen 06:00 Friday 21st November 2025.

Heathery Road, Wishawhill is closed due to an unplanned road closure.

These works are expected to be in place for 2-3 weeks.

Hillington Road

To allow for major works on Hillington Interchange, the 9A service from Braehead will not serve Penilee/Hillington Industrial Estate between 20:00-06:00 nightly on these dates:

Passengers wishing to get to Penilee/Hillington Industrial Estate will have to use last stop on Kings Inch Road or Paisley Road West at Morrisons and 9A to Penilee.

To allow for major works on Hillington Interchange, the 9A service from Braehead will be diverted from 20:00-06:00 nightly on these dates:

Mill Road 

To allow for bridge repair works, commencing Saturday night 18th October from 20:00 until 06:00, then every consecutive Saturday night until Sunday morning 21st December, this stop will be out of use.
