8 / Lamont Road / 13th - 17th of April 2026

Due to an accident at Clydesdale Street at Douglas Street, the following diversion will be in place:

New Park Street, Caird Street, Bothwell Road, Almada Street and normal route.

This is anticipated to be in place until 17:00.

Service 1 A814 Glasgow Road West Bound

To allow for essential Road Works on Wednesday 27th May 22:00 until Thursday 28th May 06:00 Glasgow Road West Bound will be closed .

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 1 towards Dumbarton: Normal route A82 at Glasgow Road, continue to A82 Stirling Road, Greenhead Road, Glasgow Road, then normal route.

Services 1 & 1A | Dumbarton Road at Dunglass Closure

Due to essential road works on Tuesday 26th May 22:00 until Wednesday  27th May 06:00 Dumbarton Road/Dunglass  will be closed  Both Ways.

 During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 1 & 1A  towards Glasgow 22:00-06:00: Normal route to Dunglass Roundabout, continue to A82, take slip road for Mountblow Road, A82 West bound, Boulevard Junction, A814 Dumbarton Road then normal route.

Services 1 & 1A  towards Dumbarton 22:00-06:00: Normal route to Dumbarton Road, Gavinburn, Boulevard junction, onto A82, to Dunglass Roundabout then normal route.

Services 1C Cairntoul Drive

To allow for resurfacing works on Wednesday 27th May until Friday 29th May Cairntoul Drive will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 1C towards Drumchapel: Normal route Anniesland Road at Cairntoul Drive, continue to Anniesland Road, Lincoln Avenue, to Alderman Road then normal route.

Service 1C towards City: Normal route Alderman Road at Polnoon Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Anniesland Road, then normal route.

Service 211 Thrashbush Road Airdrie

To allow for Scottish Water iron Works on Monday 25th May until Tuesday 26th May Thrashbush Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 211 from Thrashbush Quadrant: Normal route Dykehead Road at Thrashbush Road, continue to Dykehead Road, A73 Stirling Road, Black Street onto Aiken Street, normal route.

To allow for grass cutting, from Thursday 21st May 20:00 until Friday morning 22nd  May 06:00, M8 Eastbound J15 Stirling Road and Castle Street on slip will be closed.

Services X3, X85 & X87 towards Cumbernauld/Kirkintilloch:

The services are diverting via Cathedral Street, St James Road at Stirling Street, St James Road, Castle Street, Alexandra Parade, Cumbernauld Road, then X3 will continue via Cumbernauld Road, normal route, or X85, X87 towards Kirkintilloch, A806, Hornshill roundabout, normal route.

X25 & X25A towards Cumbernauld:

The service is diverting via A806, Hornshill roundabout,  M80 North, normal route.

Stops on St James Road opposite the Royal Infirmary will be served

To allow for resurfacing works, from Tuesday 19th May until Sunday morning 24th May, between 20:00 and 06:00 each night, M8 Eastbound between J26 & J24 will be closed.

During the closure following diversion will be in operation.

Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station:

Normal route to M8 Eastbound and diverting via J26 Hillington, Hillington Road, Renfrew Road, Shieldhall Road, Shieldhall roundabout, Shieldhall Road, Helen Street, J24 M8 Eastbound, normal route.

To allow for grass cutting, from Thursday 21st May 20:00 until Friday morning 22nd May 06:00, Stirling Road and Castle Street on slips to M8 J15 East Bound will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Service X11 from Buchanan Bus Station towards M74 South:       

The service is diverting via Cathedral Street, St James Road at Stirling Road, St James Road, Castle Street, Alexandra Parade, Cumbernauld Road, Provan Road, M8, Eastbound (Carlisle/Edinburgh), normal route.

Stops on St James Road opposite the Royal Infirmary would be served.

To allow for resurfacing works, from Saturday 23rd May until Sunday 24th May, Annsfield Road will be closed eastbound.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 226 towards Hillhouse:                                                         

The services are diverting via Meikle Earnock Road at Neilsland Road, Neilsland Road, Neilsland Square, Millgate Road, Fairhill Avenue, Mill Road, Low Waters Road, normal route.

To allow for emergency Scottish Power works  Bothwell Street will be closed until Friday 22nd May.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service X8 & 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station:                                      

The service is diverting via Bothwell Street, Pitt Street, and West George Street, the normal route. X8 will continue via Hope Street to the normal route.
