To allow for the Christmas lights switch-on event on Saturday, 22nd November, Rutherglen Main Street will close between 06:00 and 22:00.
During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 7 towards Rutherglen.
The service is diverting via Burnhill Street at Mill Street, Mill Street, Kings Park Ave, Bankhead Road, Mill Street, Main Street.
Service 7 towards Summerston.
Starting services from the bus stop on Mill Street before Main Street (2 minutes later than the scheduled Mitchell Arcade time) and operating via Burnhill Street normal route.
Service 7A journeys terminating Rutherglen.
The service is diverting via Kings Park Avenue at Bankhead Road, Kings Park Avenue, Mill Street and Bankhead Road.
Service 7A journeys from Rutherglen/Bankhead towards City Centre.
Starting service from the bus stop on Mill Street before Bankhead Road (2 minutes before Bankhead time) and operating via Bankhead Road normal route.
Service 7A towards Westburn.
The service is diverting via Bankhead Road at Mill Street, Mill Street, Rodger Drive, Stonelaw Road and the normal route.
Service 7A towards Summerston from Westburn.
The service is diverting via Stonelaw Road at Rodger Drive, Rodger Drive, Mill Street, Bankhead Road normal route.
