Rutherglen Christmas Lights
To allow for the Christmas lights switch-on event, Rutherglen Main Street will close.
Saturday 22nd November between 06:00 - 22:00
Service(s) affected: 7, 7A, 46, 90, 267
During the closure, all stops will be observed and the following diversions will be in operation:
Service 7 towards Rutherglen.
Normal route until Burnhill Street and terminate at Mill Street.
Service 7 towards Summerston.
Starting service from Mill Street before Main Street (2 minutes later than scheduled) and operate via Burnhill Street to resume normal route.
Service 7A journeys terminating Rutherglen.
Normal route until Kings Park Avenue at Bankhead Road, continue Kings Park Avenue and Mill Street.
Service 7A journeys from Rutherglen/Bankhead towards City Centre.
Starting service from Mill Street, before Bankhead Road (2 minutes before Bankhead time) and operate via Bankhead Road to resume the normal route.
Service 7A towards Westburn.
Normal Route until Bankhead Road then via Mill Street, Rodger Drive and Stonelaw Road to resume the normal route.
Service 7A towards Summerston from Westburn.
Normal route until Stonelaw Road then via Rodger Drive, Mill Street and Bankhead Road to resume the normal route.
Services 46 and 65 towards Dalmarnock.
Normal route until Mill Street then via Rodger Drive, Stonelaw Road and Farmeloan Road to resume the normal route.
Services 46 and 65 towards Castlemilk or Halfway.
Normal route until Farmeloan Road at Main Street continue Stonelaw Road, Rodger Drive and Mill Street to resume the normal route.
Service 90 towards Partick.
Normal route until Burnhill Street via Mill Street, Rodger Drive, Stonelaw Road and Farmeloan Road to resume the normal route.
Service 90 towards Braehead/Govan.
Normal route until Farmeloan Road at Main Street, continue Stonelaw Road, Rodger Drive, Mill Street and Burnhill Street to resume the normal route.
Service 267 towards Buchanan Bus Station.
Normal route to Rutherglen Main Street then via Stonelaw Road, Rodger Drive, Mill Street and Glasgow Road to resume the normal route.
Service 267 towards Hamilton.
Normal route to Glasgow Road at Main Street, continue Mill Street, Rodger Drive, Stonelaw Road and Main Street to resume the normal route.
