To allow for works from Thursday, 5th June 08:00 until the works are complete, Etive Street will be closed.

During the closure, all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Towards Easterhouse only via Shettleston Road, South Hallhill Road, the normal route.
 

From Sunday 15th June, we are making minor service updates to the below services across Glasgow and Lanarkshire, operating revised timetables and routes to improve reliability for our customers.

The following services will see minor adjustments to timings:

2, 3, 6, 6A, 8, 11, 16, 18, 18A, 21, 77, 81, 90, 201, 226, 240, 241, 242, 255, 263, 266, 267, X4, X11, U1

Service 21 will now terminate at East Kilbride Bus Station. We're introducing a new service, 18A, to/from Glasgow city centre, which will serve stops between Gardenhall and East Kilbride Bus Station. Service 18 to Greenhills will remain unchanged.

We're also extending Service 201, to now serve the new Hairmyres Railway Station, allowing for greater connecting journeys.

Services 226, 263, 266, X4 and X11 will see additional journeys.

Later evening journeys will be added to Service X11 from Buchanan Bus Station Monday-Saturday.

Due to a burst water main, Shettleston Road is closed from today Thursday 29th May until works are completed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 2 46 60 60A & 46 from Parkhead                                     

From Shettleston Road left onto Old Shettleston Road, at next set of lights right onto Fernan Street, left Shettleston Road normal route.

Services 2 46 60 60A & 46 towards Parkhead                                

Normal route Shettleston Road, right onto Fernan Street at next set of lights left Old Shettleston Road, right Shettleston Road normal route.

Service 43 from Parkhead

West Muir Street, left Nisbet Street, left East Wellington Street, right Duke Street normal route.

To allow for barrier repairs on Thursday, 5th June, from 09:30 to 15:30, Fernhill Road at Morar Drive will be closed.

During the closure, all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation: 

Service 21 towards Cochrane Street via Cathkin Bypass, Willow Boulevard, (Fernhill Bypass), Fernhill Road, normal route.

Service 21 towards East Kilbride via Fernhill Road, Willow Boulevard, (Fernhill Bypass), normal route.

Service 65 towards Osborne Street via Burnside Road past Fernhill Road, Willow Boulevard, (Fernhill Bypass), normal route.

Service 65 towards Halfway via Fernhill Road, Willow Boulevard, (Fernhill Bypass), Burnside Road, normal route.

Due to building works, bus stop 6090297 at Highburgh Road before Byres Road will be closed from Friday 2nd May until works are completed (approximately 24 weeks).

A temporary stop will be in place. 
 

To allow for works on Monday 21st April until Sunday 29th June the M8 Junction 27-28 westbound will be closed towards Glasgow Airport (only) between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure services will divert via Renfrew Road, Weir Street, Old Sneddon Street, Love Street, Inchinnan Road, Sanderling Road,Glasgow Airport access road normal route.

Service 226 diversion

Brankholm Brae Hillhouse is inaccessible for Service 226 and this service will operate a diversion until further notice. Passengers who usually board on Brankholm Brae should use an alternative stop on Townhill Road.

Normal route, Thornhill Road at Fleming Way, Fleming Way, Townhill Road.

Services 60 60A 61 & M3 Phoenix Road To allow for works, on Saturday 22nd July until August 2025

Phoenix Road will fully close.

uring the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 60,60A & 61 towards Parkhead Will divert St Georges Place, left St Georges Road right Garscube Road normal route.

Services 60,60A & 61 towards Maryhill Will divert Garscube Road, left St Georges Road, right St Georges Place, right Maryhill Road normal route.

Service M3 towards City Centre Will divert Garscube Road.

Service M3 towards Milton Will divert Garscube Road.
