To allow for footway resurfacing, from Tuesday 13th January until Friday 16th January, Bankhead Avenue at the junction of Motherwell Road will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation:

Towards Hairmyres via Motherwell Road, Glenmore Avenue, Coniston Drive, Bankhead Avenue, normal route.
 

To allow for emergency Scottish Water repairs, from Monday, 12th January until Friday, 16th January, Heathery Road will be closed.

During the closure, all stops will be observed, and the following diversion will be in operation:

Towards Pather via Glasgow Road, Cleland Road, Main Street, Heathery Road, Campsie Road, Pentland Road, Grampian Road, Heathery Road, Main Street, Cleland Road, Glasgow Road, normal route.

Towards HolytownMaxim via Glasgow Road, Cleland Road, Main Street, Heathery Road, Campsie Road, Pentland Road, Grampian Road, Heathery Road, Main Street, Cleland Road, Glasgow Road, normal route.

Services 1, 1A

West Bridge End, Dumbarton is closed due to ongoing road works, for approximately 4 weeks.

Services will terminate at the Quay and divert via Glasgow Road.

George Square North Closure

Due to Avenues work from Monday 12th January for approximately 3 months, George Square North will close.

During the closure, services will use Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge in both directions with bus stops installed on Bath Street towards Cathedral Street.

Service 6A towards City Centre

Diverting via Renfrew Street, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street and Cathedral Bridge.

The last stop for passengers is Killermont St at Buchanan Bus Station. No boarding or alighting at Cathedral Bridge.

Service 6A towards Drumchapel

From Cathedral Bridge diverting via Bath Street, serve bus stop 60904044 on Bath Street opposite Sainsbury’s, Renfield Street,  St Vincent Street and Hope Street.

Services 19, 38 / 38A / 38B / 38C / 38E, 57 / 57A towards Cathedral Street

Diverting via West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge and Cathedral Street.

Service 41 towards Easterhouse

Diverting via West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge, Cathedral Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Square, John Knox Street and Duke Street.

Service 398 towards Buchanan Bus Station

Diverting via West George Street, serve bus stop 609085 on West George Street, West Nile Street, Bath Street/Cathedral Bridge and North Hanover Street.

Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station

Diverting via West George Street, serve bus stop 609085 on West George Street, West Nile Street, Killermont Street to Buchanan Bus Station.

Service 500 towards Glasgow Airport

From Buchanan Bus Station, Killermont Street, North Hanover Street, Cathedral Bridge, Bath Street, Renfield Street and St Vincent Street.

During the works at George Square North, the following bus stops will not be served.

To allow for resurfacing on Friday 9th January 22:00 util Saturday 10th January 06:00 the M8 J19 Bothwell Street off slip will be closed.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation:

Service 500 towards Buchanan Bus Station diverting via slip to M74 and exit A8/Tradeston, Paisley Road, Kingston Street, Commerce Street, Oswald Street and Hope Street.

Service 77

To allow for works on Thursday 8th January 22:00 until Friday 9th January 06:00 the M8 Junction 27 on slip westbound will be closed towards Glasgow Airport.

During the closure the following diversion will be in place:

Service 77 towards Glasgow Airport.

Diverting via Renfrew Road, Weir Street, Old Sneddon Street, Love Street, Inchinnan Road, Sanderling Road and onto Glasgow Airport access road to normal route.

Service 500

To allow for motorway works on Thursday 8th January until Monday 12th January M8 J26 West Bound will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure the following diversion will be in operation.

Service will exit the at J26 and rejoin the J26 on slip West Bound to normal route.

Service 46

To allow for resurfacing works, from Tuesday 6th January 09:00 until Friday 9th January 20:00, Abercromby Street will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Service 46 towards Easterhouse:

Diverting via London Road, Bain Street, Gallowgate and Bellgrove Street.

Service 46 towards Castlemilk:

Reverse of above.
