Service X44 Diversion - Loanhead Road Closure

Due to an emergency road closure, Loanhead Road in Newarthill is closed between Glenmore Road and the A73 until further notice.

Towards Glasgow will divert via Glenmore Road, Carfin Road, Newarthill Road and Motherwell Road before rejoining the A73 and continuing the normal route.

Towards Newarthill will divert via Motherwell Road, Newarthill Road and Carfin Road before returning to the normal route.

X44 journeys at 6:00pm and 7:00pm (Monday to Saturday) from Buchanan Bus Station to Newarthill: These journeys will operate on diversion via Motherwell Road, Newarthill Road, Carfin Road and Glenmore Road before returning to the normal route.

Services 6, 18, 18A, 21, 41, 240, 255, 263 & 267 - Road works

To allow for Glasgow City Council Avenues works on Tuesday 4th August, St Vincent Place will be closed until works are completed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Service 18/18A towards Douglas Street

• Buses will operate via High Street, Castle Street and Cathedral Street.
• The first stop on High Street will still be served.

Service 21 towards City

• Buses will operate via Saltmarket, High Street, Castle Street and Cathedral Street.
• The stop on High Street before Cathedral Bridge will not be served.
• Customers should use the first stop on High Street instead.

Service 267 towards Buchanan Bus Station

• Buses will divert via Bridgegate, Saltmarket, High Street, Castle Street and Cathedral Street.
• The first stop on High Street will still be served.

Service 41 towards West Regent Street

• Buses will divert via John Knox Street, Castle Street, Cathedral Street, Bath Street and Renfield Street before returning to normal route.

Services 240, 255 & 263

• Buses will divert via High Street, Cathedral Street, North Hanover Street and Killermont Street.
• The first stop on High Street will still be served.

Service 6 towards Hope Street

• Buses will divert via Midland Street and Hope Street.
• The stop on Stockwell Place will not be served during the diversion.
