Due to a burst water main, Shettleston Road is closed from today Thursday 29th May until works are completed.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services 2 46 60 60A & 46 from Parkhead                                     

From Shettleston Road left onto Old Shettleston Road, at next set of lights right onto Fernan Street, left Shettleston Road normal route.

Services 2 46 60 60A & 46 towards Parkhead                                

Normal route Shettleston Road, right onto Fernan Street at next set of lights left Old Shettleston Road, right Shettleston Road normal route.

Service 43 from Parkhead

West Muir Street, left Nisbet Street, left East Wellington Street, right Duke Street normal route.

To allow for emergency roadworks, on Thursday 29th May 20:00 until Friday 30th May 06:00, Springburn Expressway Southbound ONLY will be closed.

During the closure all stops will be observed and the following diversion will be in operation.

Services 57, 57A  towards Silverburn/Kennishead ONLY:

From Springburn Road, diverting via Fountainwell Road, St Rollox Drive, Keppochhill Road, Pinkston Road, Baird Street, Castle Street under M8 flyover, continuing Castle Street onto normal route.

Services 88, 88A, 88C, 89, 89A, 89B towards Buchanan Bus Station ONLY:

From Springburn Road, Fountainwell Road, St Rollox Drive,  Keppochhill Road, Pinkston Road, Baird Street onto normal route.

Springburn Road at Petershill Road

Due to resurfacing works at King George V Bridge (towards Oswald Street), the road will be closed from 04:00 on Saturday the 31st of May until 05:00 on Monday the 2nd of June.

The following diversions will be in place as a result:

Service 9, 9A & 10 (to City):

Normal route to Paisley Road West, Harvie Street, Govan Road, Squinty Bridge, Lancefield Quay, Broomielaw, York Street, Argyle Street, Hope Street back to the normal route.

Stops beyond Harvie Street on Paisley Road West, towards the City Centre, will not be served during this time.

Services 4 & 4A  (to Charing Cross):                                       

Normal route to Pollokshaws Road, Gorbals Street, Victoria Bridge, Stockwell Street, Stockwell Place, Howard Street, Jamaica Street, Midland Street, Oswald Street to the normal route. 

Services 3, 38, 38A, 38B, 38C, 38E, 57 & 57A (to City):                   

Normal route to Eglinton Street, Cumberland Street, Laurieston Road, Cathcart Road, Gorbals Street, Victoria Bridge, Stockwell Street, Stockwell Place, Howard Street, Jamaica Street, Midland Street, Oswald Street, to the normal route.

Bus stops on Eglinton Street between Cumberland Street and Commerce Street towards the City Centre will not be served during this time. Please board on Gorbals Street or an alternative stop on Eglinton Street before Cumberland Street.

Due to road works from Saturday 31st May until Monday 2nd June, A806 Hornshill Roundabout South Bound will be closed between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure the following diversions will be in operation:

Services X85 & X87 towards City via normal route Hornshill roundabout, A806, Cumbernauld Road, slip to M8 West Bound to the normal line of route.

Service X3 towards City via normal route, Crowwood roundabout, Cumbernauld Road, slip to M8 West Bound to the normal line of route.
 

Due to ironwork repairs from 9:30 on Thursday the 29th of May until 7:00 on Friday the 30th of May, Wallacewell Road will be closed between Standburn Road and Northgate Road.

Services will be diverted as follows:

Service 57A (to Kennishead):

Diverting via Wallacewell Road, Standburn Road, Auchinairn Road, Northgate Road, Wallacewell Road back to the normal route.

Due to building works, bus stop 6090297 at Highburgh Road before Byres Road will be closed from Friday 2nd May until works are completed (approximately 24 weeks).

A temporary stop will be in place. 
 

To allow for works on Monday 21st April until Sunday 29th June the M8 Junction 27-28 westbound will be closed towards Glasgow Airport (only) between 20:00 and 06:00 each night.

During the closure services will divert via Renfrew Road, Weir Street, Old Sneddon Street, Love Street, Inchinnan Road, Sanderling Road,Glasgow Airport access road normal route.

Service 226 diversion

Brankholm Brae Hillhouse is inaccessible for Service 226 and this service will operate a diversion until further notice. Passengers who usually board on Brankholm Brae should use an alternative stop on Townhill Road.

Normal route, Thornhill Road at Fleming Way, Fleming Way, Townhill Road.

Phoenix Road will fully close.
