Service 500 is Glasgow Airport's official bus service, connecting the airport and city from just 15 minutes.

Service 500 is a 24 hour service, departing from every 10 minutes from Glasgow Airport stance 1 and Buchanan Bus Station stance 46.

Service 500 offers a fast, reliable and sustainable connection to and from Glasgow Airport aboard our electric buses.

Ticket range

The below tickets are available on Glasgow Airport Express Service 500, we have a range of tickets to suit your travel needs.

You can buy your ticket on your phone using the First Bus app, or if you prefer, you can buy your ticket from the driver using cash or contactless payments.

Concession passes including U22s and over 60s, can be used on Service 500.

Within Glasgow city centre, we make five stops before Glasgow Airport and four stops before Buchanan Bus Station.

  • North Hanover Street → St Vincent Place → St Vincent Street → Waterloo Street → Glasgow Airport
  • From Glasgow Airport
  • Bothwell Street → Bothwell Street at Hope Street (near Central Station) → Queen Street Station → North Hanover Street → Buchanan Bus Station
