The A120 is closed for overnight roadworks, between Braintree and Great Dunmow, from 28/05/2026 to 30/05/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly, between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the X20 will be placed on diversion:

  • Towards Colchester: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.
  • Towards Stansted Airport: The X20 will divert via the B1256.  All bus stops served as normal. *Please allow extra time for your journey - as delays are likely to occur due to length of diversion*
