Maldon Road is obstructed between Oaks Corner and Morrisons (Maldon). The 331 / 332 / 333 / 31 are experiencing significant delays. The 331 / 332 / 333 / 31 (towards Maldon only) will be diverting via the B1010 and the B1018 until further notice.

*UPDATED* The 55 has returned to normal line of route and is serving Mersea Island. Journeys reinstated at 13:32.
The 12:32 and 13:32 journeys, from Mersea Island to Colchester City Centre, are not operating due to an unexpected high tide. This journeys will terminate/recommence at Peldon. Hythe Station Road has been unexpectantly closed for roadworks.
Due to the location of the road closure - the 54 service will be placed on diversion:
Towards Greenstead: The 54 will divert via Maudlyn Road, Hythe Quay, Colne Causeway, Eastern Approach and Elmstead Road.
Towards Colchester City Centre: The 54 will divert via Elmstead Road, Eastern Approach, Colne Causeway, Hythe Quay and Hythe Station Road.
The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

Due to significant traffic congestion on route - the X20 is unable to depart North Station, Colchester at 17:53.
-> This journey will be reinstated and will depart Colchester High Street at 17:57.
