Gt Dunmow Christmas Market & Late Night Shopping returns on Friday 28th November 2025. 

High Street, Great Dunmow will be closed from 14:00hrs to 21:00hrs for the duration of the event.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 42A, X10, X20, X30 and 570 services will be placed on diversion:

42A / X10 / X20 / X30

The 42A, X10, X20 and X30 services will divert in both directions via the B1256.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Oak Industrial Estate
  • Gatehouse Villas
  • Station Road
  • Great Dunmow High Street
  • Stortford Road
  • The Queen Victoria

For the duration of the event - the closest servable bus stop to the road closure will be: Woodside Way

570

The event road closure will only impact the AFTERNOON JOURNEY. The 570 service will be unable to serve the following bus stops: High Street, Stortford Road and Queen Victoria.

The 570 service will divert, after serving The Avenue bus stop, via Chelmsford Road (passengers will be able to disembark service at Station Road bus stop) and Dunmow Bypass.

The 570 service will terminate at Woodside Way bus stop (outside Tesco).
