Burnt Mills Roundabout, Harlow is closed for overnight roadworks, at the following times, on the following dates:

  • 20:00 on 28/11/2025 to 05:00 on 01/12/2025 (weekend closure - closed all the time)
  • 20:00 on 05/12/2025 to 05:00 on 08/12/2025 (weekend closure - closed all the time)
  • 20:00 on 12/12/2025 to 05:00 on 15/12/2025 (weekend closure - closed all the time)
  • 20:00-05:00 - 02/12/2025 to 05/12/2025 (weekday - nightly closure)
  • 20:00-05:00 - 16/12/2025 to 20/12/2025 (weekday - nightly closure)

Due to the location of the road closure; the 4, 14, 19A, 407 and 417 services will be placed on diversion:

The 14 service will divert, after serving Sainsburys, via the A1019, Fourth Avenue and Hodings Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Harlow Sports Centre
  • Town Railway Station
  • Burnt Mill
  • The Hornbeams

4 & 19A

The 4 and 19A services will terminate/recommence journeys at Harlow Temporary Bus Station.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Harlow Sports Centre
  • Town Railway Station
  • Harlow Park
  • Netteswell Orchard

407

The 407 service will divert in both directions via Howard Way and First Avenue.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Howard Way
  • Town Railway Station
  • Harlow Park
  • Netteswell Orchard
  • Harlow Sports Centre

417

The 417 service will divert in both directions via Howard Way, First Avenue and Hamstel Way.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Howard Way
  • Town Railway Station
  • Burnt Mill
  • The Hornbeams
  • Rivermill
