Chelmsford Remembrance Sunday Parade will take place on Sunday 8th November 2026.

Multiple roads, within the city centre, will be temporarily closed between 10:00 and 12:30.

  • Our drivers may also pull over to honour the two-minute silence at 11:00hrs on Remembrance Sunday (8th November 2026) and Armistice Day (Wednesday 11th November 2026) where it is safe for them to do so.

The following services will be paused or placed on diversion*:

  • *Chelmsford Bus Station will not be accessible from 10:00 to 12:30. Customers are advised to board / disembark services on Coval Lane. We have listed below the closest alternate bus stop(s) to use until temporary road closures have been lifted.
  • *Access to Retail Market bus stop (at Market Place) will be paused between 10:40 and 10:55.
  • *Access to the junction of Coval Lane/Broomfield Road will be paused between 11:15 and 11:30
