Woodside Way Roundabout, Great Dunmow will be closed for roadworks on a nightly basis from Tuesday 17th September to Monday 23rd September 2024.

The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs each night and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the roadworks the X30 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Stansted Airport

The X30 service will divert, after serving The Queen Victoria bus stop, via Dunmow Bypass (B1256) and the A120 before returning to normal line of route.

Towards Southend-on-Sea

The X30 service will not exit the A120 at Dunmow West Interchange.

The X30 service will divert via the A120, Dunmow South Interchange and Dunmow Bypass (B1256) before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

CHELMSFORD SERVICES

~~Emergency services have closed by the cathedral leaving us unable to serve the Cathedral and Tindal Street stops, after the Train Station buses will only be able to serve Parkway.~~

~~This also applies to Route 300, with no service to Cathedral, H&M stop Dc and Job Centre. 300's diverting via Parkway.~~

Heavy traffic on the A12 between J27 and J25 (south-bound direction).

Traffic is diverting via Copford and increasing congestion in and around the area.

25 - BUS STOP SUSPENSION

Due to roadworks blocking access, Bromford Drive bus stop (towards Basildon) is temporarily closed until end of day Monday 2nd June 2025. A temporary bus stop is located 50m south of closed bus stop.

10:47 Great Baddow BAE Systems to Chelmsford Bus Station +30min - Journey has resumed with severe delay to service.

200 & 201 - OBSTRUCTION

Vehicles are partially blocking King Street, Stanford-le-Hope - this is causing minor disruption to both 200 & 201 services.

88 - JOURNEY CANCELLATION [PARTIAL]

13:38 White Horse Avenue, Halstead to Colchester departure cancelled - journey to recommence at Halstead High Street at 13:49.

B3 & 25 - BUS STOP SUSPENSION

Due to roadworks blocking access, The Upway bus stops (in both directions) are temporary closed until end of day Friday 30th May 2025. A temporary bus stop has not been installed. The closest bus stop(s) to board/alight near The Upway are: Methersgate and The Hatherley

The stop towards Basildon is now open - the stop towards Grimston Road remains closed.

51 & 87 - OBSTRUCTION & DIVERSION

Due to a road traffic incident at the exit of the University, services are having to divert via Clingoe Hill, Colchester Road, Brightlingsea Road and Arlesford (both directions).

We are making minor changes to the Essex bus network from Sunday 1st June 2025.

2A	Highwoods to Horkesley Heath	Minor timetable changes to evening and Sunday journeys to improve the punctuality of the 2A service. This service is operated under contract to Essex County Council. Essex County Council has approved the timetable changes.
X20	Colchester to Stansted Airport (via Braintree)	The X20 service will be re-routed, between Great Dunmow and Stansted Airport, via the B1256, Little Canfield and Takely. The overall number of journeys provided remains unchanged, with some minor timing changes to the timetable to accommodate the re-routing. The change in route provides a weekly/24hr service to Stansted Airport, Great Dunmow, Braintree and Colchester. 45 minute journeys between Braintree and Stansted Airport. The maximum single fare remains at £3 until the end of 2025 (funded by HM Government). This offers great value for journeys from Colchester, Braintree and Great Dunmow to Stansted Airport. For customers travelling between Takeley and Stansted Airport - a maximum £2 single fare will apply.
