Multiple roads, in Basildon, are closed for Basildon Half Marathon 2025 from 08:00hrs till 12:00hrs on Sunday 14th September 2025.

Due to the location of the road closures - the B3, 25 and X10 services will be placed on diversion:

B3 - Service B3 will divert in both directions via Ashlyns, Broadmayne and Lincoln Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Northlands Park
  • Loxford 
  • Felmores Shops
  • Tenterfields
  • Great Ranton
  • Havengore
  • Wilsner
  • Tyefields

25 - Service 25 will divert in both directions via the A176 and A1235.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Cranes Farm Road
  • The Watermill
  • Grimston Road
  • Barrington Gardens
  • The Jolly Friar
  • Matching Green
  • Maplestead
  • Quilters Straight
  • The Hatherley
  • The Upway
  • Methersgate
  • Honeypot Lane
  • Audley Way
  • Long Riding
  • Asda Eastgate

X10 - Service X10 will divert in both directions via the A176 and A1235.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • The Watermill
  • Audley Way
  • Ghyllgrove Close

As this is a large event there will likely be minor delays to ALL Basildon services due to increased traffic levels in and around the area.
