Rectory Road/Wickford Avenue, Basildon is closed for overnight roadworks on Wednesday 5th February 2025.

The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the B3 and B4 services will be placed on diversion:

B3

Service B3 will divert in both directions via Wickford Avenue, Pitsea Road and London Road. The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

  • Howards Park

B4

Service B4 will divert in both directions via Pitsea Road and London Road. The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

  • Chevers Pawen
  • Chalvedon School
  • Dover Way
  • Howards Park
