Chelmsford Road, Barnston, Dunmow will be closed for roadworks from 08:00 on Saturday 1st February to 23:59 on Sunday 2nd February 2025.

Due to the location of the roadworks the 42A, X10 and X30 services will be placed on diversion:

42A

Service 42A will divert in both directions via Essex Regiment Way (B1008), Braintree Road (A131) and A120. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Apple Tree Corner
  • Ford End School
  • Back Lane
  • Sandon Hill
  • Black Chapel Lane
  • Onslow Green
  • Church School
  • High Easter Road

X10

Service X10 will divert in both directions via Essex Regiment Way (B1008), Braintree Road (A131) and A120. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Ford End School
  • Black Chapel Lane
  • Onslow Green
  • Church School

X30

Service X30 will divert in both directions via Braintree Road (A131) and A120. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Ford End School
  • Black Chapel Lane
  • Onslow Green
  • Church School
