*UPDATED* - Resumed normal line of route - No longer on diversion towards Southend-on-Sea.

There are emergency roadworks and 4 way traffic lights on Websters Way/Eastwood Road - causing delays to services. Service 25 has been placed on diversion towards Southend-on-Sea.

The following bus stops are not being served:

  • Towards Southend: Websters Way, Queens Road, Trinity Road and The Chase.
  • Towards Basildon: Normal line of route - No diversion - All bus stops served.

Due to placement/timings of temporary traffic lights at the junction of Wimpole Road - Service 54 to Greenstead and Colchester Centre is experiencing delays of up to 30 mins. 

Passengers are advised to board at Colchester Town Railway bus stop.

Service 54 is currently operating a reduced service due to temporary traffic lights installed at the junction of Brook Street/Magdalen Street/Wimpole Road/Barrack Street.
