Significant delays, to both services, due to roadworks on Mountnessing Road increasing traffic levels in and around the area. The 9 service will divert via London Road (A129) in both directions until further notice. The following bus stops will not be served: Gooseberry Green, Ricketts Drive, Bellevue Road, Beaufort Road and London Road (south-bound).

Due to heavy traffic on the A12 - all Colchester services are experiencing delays.

71 / SERVICE DISRUPTION / 18th of October 2025

The 71 from Colchester which departs at 11:05 has broken down.

The service will recommence at Marks Tey scheduled for 1130 but will be approx 20 minutes delayed.

C8 / SERVICE DISRUPTION / 18th of October 2025

The C8 which departs Bealieu Park at 10:30 is delayed following a breakdown.

A new bus is coming to replace and service will run once this has took place.

100 / London Road / SERVICE DISRUPTION 18th of October 2025

The route 100 is diverting between Moore Avenue and Grays Bus Station.

This is due to an incident after Moore Avenue.

Roseberry and ALDI will be missed during this time.

54, 57 and 56 / SERVICE DISRUPTION / 18th of October 2025

Towards North Station from City Centre:

After serving Middleborough services will operate via Westway (A134), Colne Bank, Station Way (A134), Essex Hall & Station Way (North Station Layby).

Towards Colchester City Centre from Highwoods / North Station:

After the North Station services will operate via Middleborough/North Hill.

Highwoods Square / 51& 52 / DIVERSION 20th of October 2025

Highwoods Square – Temporary Access Restriction.

Highwoods Square will not be accessible due to ongoing roadworks.

Service 51: Services will be operating via Derwent Road & Highwoods Square.

Service 51 will still be serving the Highwoods Approach bus stops on both sides of the road.

Service 52: Services will be operating via Eastwood Drive & Highwoods Square.

Highwoods Square will not be served during the roadworks.

EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH TIDES AT WEST MERSEA / SERVICE DISRUPTION 14th of October 2025

DUE TO EXCEPTIONALLY HIGH TIDES THE FOLLOWING SERVICES FROM COLCHESTER OSBORNE STREET / CR High Steet FOR THE MONTH OF November 2025 WILL TERMINATE AND START AT PELDON.

370 / Colchester Road / 6/11-7/11

Colchester Road will be closed on the above dates.

As a result, buses will be terminating at Butler Road Car Park.
