B3 & B4

High Road, Pitsea has been unexpectantly closed due to burst water main. The permit's end date is: 01/12/2025.

Due to the location of the road closure, the B3 and B4 services have been placed on diversion:

Towards Pitsea: Normal line of route - all bus stops served.
Towards Basildon: The B3 service will divert via Pitsea Road and Wickford Avenue. The following bus stops will not be served: Station Lane, Broadway and Howards Park

*Passengers can board/disembark the B3 service on Wickford Avenue. Please note. bus stops are located on the OPPOSITE side of the road to where the B4 service normally picks-up/drops off passengers.To Basildon Bus Station: Chevers Pawen, Chalvedon School & Dover Court*.

Towards Pitsea: Normal line of route - all bus stops served.
Towards Basildon: The B4 service will not serve Wickford Avenue towards Basildon (*B3 service provides access*) and will divert via Pitsea Road. The following bus stops will not be served: Howards Park, Dover Way, Chalvedon School and Chevers Pawen

Temporary traffic lights have been installed on Station Way blocking access to bus stop: Colchester Railway Station Layby (Stand Ea). The permit's end date is: Today 09:00 - 17:00.

The A12 is closed in both directions between Mountnessing and Three Mile Hill, Chelmsford.

The 351 service is currently experiencing severe delays of up to 60+ minutes.

Heavy traffic in and around Lakeside. The 100 service is currently experiencing severe delays. Journeys are being assessed on a case by case basis to retain punctuality -

Journeys to divert via the A1306, A1012 and A126.
Journeys to terminate/recommence at Grays Bus Station.

Service 75

Service 75, due to depart Maldon at 18:20 towards Colchester, is not running due to operational issues.

B3 / B4

[17:24] The B3 and B4 services have returned to normal line of route.

[13:24] The B3 and B4 services are currently impacted by the following roadworks: High Road, Pitsea has been closed for roadworks - 7 Dec 15:07 - 12 Dec 23:00 GMT (UK Power Networks) High Road, Pitsea has been closed for roadworks - 8 Dec 08:21 - 12 Dec 23:59 GMT (Essex and Suffolk Water) The B3 and B4 services are unable to serve Station Lane bus stop (eastbound direction only). The B4 is terminating/recommencing journeys at Pitsea Broadway until further notice.The B3 is serving Pitsea Tesco Store as normal - on the return the B3 will divert via Hazelmere, Pitsea Hall Lane and Broadway Link until further notice.

[14:45] Temporary traffic lights have been installed on London Road, Thurrock. The permit's end date is: 12/12/2025. There are significant delays in and around Lakeside. The 100 service terminate/recommence journeys at Grays Bus Station until further notice.

[14:16] Runwell Road has been unexpectantly closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is: 18/12/2025 23:59 GMT. Due to the location of the road closure - the 13, 13A and 13B services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Chelmsford: Normal line of route. All bus stops served.
Towards Wickford: The 13, 13A and 13B services will divert via High Street and London Road before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stops will not be served: The Swans (towards Wickford)

Services to divert in both directions via Market Hill and A414 until further notice. 31 / 331 / 332 / 333: Passengers are advised to use the following bus stops: The Swan Hotel (on High Street), West Station (on Spital Road) 73 : Passengers are advised to use the following bus stops: Tesco Store (Maldon) and The Swan Hotel (on High Street)
