Emergency road closure on Barleylands Road, Billericay. Due to location of road closure - Service 300 is diverting in both directions via Wash Road, A176, Church Street and Mill Road. The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

PLEASE NOTE. Delayed journeys will terminate/recommence at the following bus stop: Retail Market, Chelmsford.

County Hall and Chelmsford Bus Station will not be served.

Colchester Road, Manningtree is closed due to roadworks - Service 104 is unable to access Manningtree High Street until further notice.

Service 104 is diverting in both directions via Long Road and New Street.

Weathersfield Road, Colchester has re-opened earlier than scheduled. The 55, 55A and 68 services have returned to normal line of route.

B3/B4

The scheduled road closure on Rectory Road/Wickford Avenue, Basildon (05/06-06/06) has been cancelled due to poor weather. The B3 and B4 services will therefore operate to normal line of route this evening.

Services X70, 71, X71, 371 and 372 are currently unable to serve Witham towards Chelmsford ONLY. An HGV is currently blocking the B1389 close to Gershwin Boulevard roundabout.

Passengers for Witham should disembark services in Hatfield Peverel and re-board services back towards Colchester.

We are making minor changes to the Essex bus network from Sunday 1st June 2025.

2A	Highwoods to Horkesley Heath	Minor timetable changes to evening and Sunday journeys to improve the punctuality of the 2A service. This service is operated under contract to Essex County Council. Essex County Council has approved the timetable changes.
X20	Colchester to Stansted Airport (via Braintree)	The X20 service will be re-routed, between Great Dunmow and Stansted Airport, via the B1256, Little Canfield and Takely. The overall number of journeys provided remains unchanged, with some minor timing changes to the timetable to accommodate the re-routing. The change in route provides a weekly/24hr service to Stansted Airport, Great Dunmow, Braintree and Colchester. 45 minute journeys between Braintree and Stansted Airport. The maximum single fare remains at £3 until the end of 2025 (funded by HM Government). This offers great value for journeys from Colchester, Braintree and Great Dunmow to Stansted Airport. For customers travelling between Takeley and Stansted Airport - a maximum £2 single fare will apply.
