ALL South Essex services *UPDATED* A13 traffic has returned to normal levels - delays significantly reduced - all South Essex services resuming normal operation.
Significant delays to all South Essex services due to RTC/road closure on the A13. Heavy traffic on A13, Canvey Way, Sadlers Farm Roundabout etc.
Heavy traffic in and around the area due to road closure and diverting traffic. All services are currently operating to normal line of route however, +25min delays to multiple services.
*UPDATE* The A13 has re-opened - Heavy traffic still on A13, Canvey Way, Sadlers Farm Roundabout etc. All South Essex services experiencing delays.

Two sets of temporary traffic lights have been installed on Galleywood Road (B1007) -
- 02/07/2025 - 10/07/2025 - Essex and Suffolk Water
- 03/07/2025 - 04/07/2025 - Openreach
The Running Mare (towards Basildon ONLY) bus stop is obstructed and will not be served until works have been completed.
A temporary bus stop has been installed, down the road towards Galleywood. Unfortunately, the temporary bus stop is currently obstructed by the Openreach works and will only be accessible once works have been completed (scheduled to be completed by the early hours of 04/07/2025).
20, 21, 25 and X30 *UPDATED* Prittlewell Chase has re-opened. The 20, 21, 25 and X30 services have returned to normal line of route.
Prittlewell Chase, Southend-on-Sea (South-East direction) is closed due to obstruction. The 20, 21, 25 and X30 services are currently on diversion until further notice:
Towards Hullbridge: Normal line of route - All bus stops served.
Towards Southend-on-Sea: The 20, 21 and 25 services are diverting via Carlton Avenue and Hobleythick Lane. The following bus stops are not being served:
Bridgwater Drive
Southbourne Grove
Prittlewell School
Southend Hospital South
Passengers are able to board/disembark services at bus stops located on Carlton Avenue. Passengers on the X30 service for Southend Hospital are advised to disembark at Highfield Gardens (Stop J) bus stop.
100 *UPDATED* Road fully reopened at 01:42, services back to usual line of route.
M25 QE2 Bridge CLOSED due to RTC. Severe delays in and around the area - Heavy traffic in West Thurrock, Lakeside and Grays due to traffic diverting away from road closure.
All 100 journeys are terminating/recommencing journeys at The Ship PH bus stop until further notice.
*UPDATE* All 100 journeys are terminating/recommencing journeys at Grays Bus and Railway Station until further notice. Alternate public transport options are Ensign Bus (limited service) or C2C Rail Services (to/from Lakeside - Chafford Hundred).
*UPDATE* [17:08] Highways England have indicated that there is significant damage to parts of the road surface and safety equipment on the QE2 bridge.It remains closed with severe delays to most roads, both in Thurrock and Dartford.
I's likely that the road will not re-open until mid/late evening.
