The traffic lights are being replaced at the junction of New London Road (B1007)/Writtle Road/Elm Road. These roadworks consist of full-time temporary traffic signals, part-time lane closures and the possible suspension of bus stops (BBC Essex and South Lodge Hotel).

These roadworks are scheduled to be undertaken Monday 17th April - Saturday 27th May 2023.

Due to the location of the roadworks - this has caused significant delays to traffic in and around the area - having a knock-on affect to the following services:
