Ghyllgrove closed Monday 20th June 2022 to Friday 24th June 2022

Due to resurfacing works, Ghyllgrove will be closed. B3 and 25 will not be able to serve Ghyllgrove and parts of Whitmore Way after 20:00hrs - 05:00hrs

Stops not served will be Audley Way, Honeypot Lane, Methersgate, The Upway, The Hatherley (Big Q) and buses will divert via The Fremnells and A1321 Broadmayne

Chelmsford Railway Station - Closed bus stops

The following bus stops are temporarily closed: Railway Station (Stand 10) and Railway Station (Stand 11)

NEW bus stop shelters are being installed - work to be completed by 17:00 today (30th May).

Alternate bus stops are: The Ship or Cathedral

X20 - Severe delays

A120 is partially blocked due to RTC - queuing traffic. The X20 service is currently operating to normal line of route but experiencing severe delays up to +30mins.

9 - Diversion

Meadow Rise, Billericay is closed for emergency roadworks. Service 9 is diverting in both directions via the A129.

We are making minor changes to the Essex bus network from Sunday 1st June 2025.

2A	Highwoods to Horkesley Heath	Minor timetable changes to evening and Sunday journeys to improve the punctuality of the 2A service. This service is operated under contract to Essex County Council. Essex County Council has approved the timetable changes.
X20	Colchester to Stansted Airport (via Braintree)	The X20 service will be re-routed, between Great Dunmow and Stansted Airport, via the B1256, Little Canfield and Takely. The overall number of journeys provided remains unchanged, with some minor timing changes to the timetable to accommodate the re-routing. The change in route provides a weekly/24hr service to Stansted Airport, Great Dunmow, Braintree and Colchester. 45 minute journeys between Braintree and Stansted Airport. The maximum single fare remains at £3 until the end of 2025 (funded by HM Government). This offers great value for journeys from Colchester, Braintree and Great Dunmow to Stansted Airport. For customers travelling between Takeley and Stansted Airport - a maximum £2 single fare will apply.
