Temporary traffic lights have been installed on Noak Hill Road, Billericay until Thursday 24th July 2025.

Due to the location of the traffic lights - there are long delays in and around the local area - to retain punctuality the 9 service has been placed on diversion:

Towards Billericay: Normal line of route - All bus stops served.

Towards Basildon: The 9 service will divert after serving The Kings Head and return to normal line of route on High Road. The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Homefield Close
  • Grange Road
  • Kennel Lane
  • Great Burstead Church
  • Church Street
  • Noak Hill Close
  • St Agnes Road
  • Old Fortune
  • Dunton Road
  • Osier Drive
