Halstead Road, Eight Ash Green is closed for roadworks until Tuesday 8th July 2025.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 88, 88A and 88B services are on diversion:

Towards Colchester: Normal line of route - all bus stops served.

Towards Halstead: The 88/88A/88B services are diverting, after serving Holiday Inn - Eight Ash Green, via the A12, A120 and Great Tey Road/Brook Road/Chappel Road/Swan Street/Chappel Hill/The Street before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stop will not be served:

  • Jubilee Meadow
  • Turkey Cock Lane
  • Wood Corner
  • New Road
  • Colchester Road
  • The Street
