A section of High Street/Station Road, Brightlingsea will be closed for roadworks from Tuesday 9th January to Tuesday 16th January 2024.

Due to the location of the roadworks the 87 services will be placed on the following diversion -

The 87 service will divert after serving Bellfield Avenue via Chapel Road, Red Barn Road, Bateman Road, Church Road and Lower Park Road - terminating its inbound journey at Station Road bus stop. The service will be paused at the bus stop and will depart at the timetabled Station Road departure time.

The following bus stops will not be served whilst the 87 service is placed on diversion:

  • Chapel Road
  • Hurst Green
  • High Street
  • Victoria Place
