Church Road (B1029), Brightlingsea is closed for overnight roadworks from Wednesday 3rd September to Saturday 6th September 2025.

The road will be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and will re-open from 06:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 87 service will divert in both directions via Samsons Road.

The following bus stops will not be served:

Samsons Corner
Strangers Corner
Colne School
Bateman Road

Colchester Road will be closed on the above dates.

As a result, buses will be terminating at Butler Road Car Park.

X30 / Battlesbridge Bypass / DIVERSION 29th of October 2025

X30 Battlesbridge Bypass closure 29/10-5/11 TIMED CLOSURE 2000-0500

ONLY BEDLOES CORNER STOP WILL BE AFFECTED.

Services will operate via Rettendon, A130, A1245 & Rawreth Lane.

ToChelmsford

Services will operate via Rawreth Lane, A1245, A130 & Chelmsford.

X30 & 42A / Stortford Road / DIVERSION 23rd of October 2025

Stortford Road Closed 23/10-27/10 (TIMED CLOSURE EACH DAY 1900-0200) X30

The X30 will divert via Barnston & the A120 in each direction.

To Burnham

Services will operate via Eves Corner, Bicknacre,White Swan B1418 & Oak Corner.

To Chelmsford

Services will operate via Oak Corner, B1418 to White Swan & Eves Corner.

417 / Fourth Avenue / DIVERSION

Fourth Avenue, Harlow will be closed for works nightly between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs on 9th 10th 13th 15th & 16th of October 2025.

During this time the 417 will not be able to serve the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

Passengers should head to Hemstel Road Wych Elm stop or Hobtoe Road Foldcroft Stop in both directions.

From its Junction with Haydens road roundabout to the junction of Hoddings road in both directions .

The 417 service will operate as follows:

Towards Old Oak way 

Hemstel Road, the Hospital, Hodings Road & Hobtoe Road.

Towards Harlow Temp bus station 

Hobtoe Road, Hodings Road, Hemstel Road & Fourth Avenue.

Basildon Stop Suspensions / 8th of October 2025

B4 Dover way toward Pitsea is suspended.

B3 stop for Northlands toward Basildon.

B4 / Wickford Avenue / SERVICE DISRUPTION

There are works taking place on Wickford Avenue by Dover Way 8-17 Oct.

There may be disruption to the B4 service during this time.

Eastwood Road/Progress Road / 20, 25,625, 825 & X30 / DELAYS

Due to works, services are experiencing delays of 15-25 minutes. The works are taking place during the day all day and are permitted until 19/12. We expect there to be delays to the above services and some services may need to be adjusted.
