Service 75 | Colchester Stampede 10K 2025 | Sunday 18th May 2025

The following services have been impacted by operational issues: 

Listed oldest to newest:

Service X10 and X30

Sever delays on the A130 and A12. This is due to a fire on or around the A12.

The X10 services are diverting between the swan Wickford and Chelmsford.

We are not serving St Lukes in both directions. 

The 0615 and 0720 services from Basildon have both gotten caught in the delays there.

These services may terminate at Chelmsford.

Update 08:43 - Route toward Chelmsford and Stansted will now use the Old Road.

Toward Basildon is normal line of route.

The 0615 service (late by 1 hr 45 minutes) is going to terminate at Chelmsford bus station and transfer passengers to the X10 behind. That service is 20 late. 

Update 10:15 - X10 Services have returned to serving all stops.

Service 9

Route 9 is diverting between Hutton and East Ham Estate via Shenfield Road and Middleton Hall Lane both directions. This is due to emergency water works.

This diversion is likely to cause delays; duration is still unknown.

No stops on Hanging Hall Lane will be served.

Service C10

Albatross Way is having resurfacing works done and will be closed for the C10 service today.

The service will divert via Brassie Wood and not serve Albatross Way or Belfry Crescent.

Chelmsford Services

Due to the A12 closure for the car fire, and a lane closure on Parkway, there has been a heavy knock-on effect of traffic throughout Chelmsford, causing delays to most services of around 30 minutes. 

Service X20

The 14:33 X20 from North Station towards Stanstead will now leave from Osborne St at 14:45. 

Service 100

Route 100 will now terminate at Grays Bus Station as there is an issue with the M25

We are making minor changes to the Essex bus network from Sunday 27th July 2025.

Key details:

We are making some minor changes to services for the duration of the summer school holiday period ONLY. This is to reflect lower demand and provide more appropriate running times when traffic levels are lighter in the morning and afternoon. In Colchester, the 54 service will operate a Sunday service, every 15 minutes - improving frequency. There are also changes to the 88 service which will now be provided by konectbuses during the daytime - Monday to Saturday.

Langford Road, Langford will be closed between Witham Road and Maypole Road from Wednesday 23rd July to Sunday 31st August 2025

The 73 (all variants) will be diverted, in both directions, via Witham Road (B1018), Langford Road, Maldon Road, Blue Mills Hill, Witham Road, The Street and Maypole Road.

Two temporary stops will be installed at Langford Church and Mill House Hotel.

The following stops will not be served:

• Langford Place
• Langford Church
