High Street, Maldon is closed for roadworks from 21:00hrs on 29/09/2025 to 05:00hrs on 01/10/2025.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 73 service will be placed on diversion:

>AFTERNOON PICK-UP FROM LOWER PLUME SCHOOL ONLY:

The 73 service will divert via Mill Road and High Street before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Cross Road East
  • Cross Road West
  • Fambridge Close
  • Washington Road
  • Upper Plume School
  • All Saints Church

>ALL OTHER JOURNEYS: The 73 service will divert in both directions via High Street (in opposite direction to normal line of route), Mill Road, Cross Road and Fambridge Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • All Saints Church / The White Horse
  • Upper Plume School
  • Washington Road

Services 31, 331, 332 and 333 will also be placed on diversion due to the closure of High Street, Maldon: Service 31/331/332/333 | High Street, Maldon | ROAD CLOSED | First Bus
