Fullbridge and The Causeway, Maldon are closed for overnight roadworks from 22/09/2025 to 27/09/2025.

Due to the location of the road closure - the 73 and 333 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Chelmsford (20:50 departure from Milton Road, Maldon): Service 73 will divert via Spital Road, Maldon Bypass (A414), Heybridge Approach (B1018), Langford Road, Holloway Road and The Square before circumnavigating the roundabout and resuming normal line of route on The Square.

The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • All Saints Church
  • Tesco Store
  • Bates Road
  • Heybridge Church
  • Bentalls Shopping Centre
  • Goldhanger Road
  • Limbourne Drive
  • Ramsey Close
  • Coopers Avenue
  • Basin Road
  • Heybridge Basin
  • Lawling Avenue

Towards Chelmsford: Service 333 will divert via Langford Road, Heybridge Approach (B1018), Maldon Bypass (A414) and Spital Road before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • Bates Road
  • The Causeway
  • Tesco Store

Towards Heybridge: Service 333 will divert via High Street, Spital Road, Maldon Bypass (A414) and Heybridge Approach and Langford Road before returning to normal line of route on Maypole Road.

The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • Tesco Store
  • Bates Road
  • The Benbridge Hotel
  • Holloway Road Church
  • Crescent Road
  • Holloway Road
