Prettygate Road, Colchester will be closed for overnight roadworks from Friday 13th June 2025 to Tuesday 17th June 2025.

  • 20:00hrs 14/06/2025 to 05:00hrs 15/06/2025 
  • 20:00hrs 15/06/2025 to 05:00hrs 16/06/2025 
  • 20:00hrs 16/06/2025 to 05:00hrs 17/06/2025 

Due to the location of the road closure - the 1A service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Greenstead: Normal line of route - All bus stops served.

Towards Colchester City Centre: The 1A service will divert via The Commons and Norman Way. The following bus stops will not be served:

  • Prettygate Library
  • All Saints Avenue
  • Hastings Road
  • Wilkin Court
  • Walnut Tree Way
  • Winston Avenue
