Reason for amendment: the 175 morning and 174 afternoon journey (school days only) will partially serve Rectory Road.
Rowhedge Road, Colchester will be subject to a road closure for pipe repair from Monday 5th February to Wednesday 7th February 2024.
The 174/175 services will be placed on the following diversions*:
The 175 service towards Rowhedge will divert via Fingringhoe Road (south-bound) and will not serve bus stops on Rowhedge Road and Rectory Road.
The 174 service towards Rowhedge will divert via Fingringhoe Road (north-bound) and will not serve bus stops on Rowhedge Road and Rectory Road.
The following stops will not be served, in both directions, whilst the diversion is in place:
- Battlesbrook Road
- Cleavelands
- Battleswick Farm
- Shipyard Corner
- Taylor's Road
- Heath Road Turn
- Rowhedge
*The 175 morning and 174 afternoon journey (school days only) will partially serve Rectory Road as follows:
The 175 morning and 174 afternoon journey (school days only) will divert via Fingringhoe Road, travel down Rectory Road and use the turning circle to return back to Fingringhoe Road. Bus passengers will be able to disembark and board the service at the turning circle.
