Multiple roads, in Braintree town centre, are closed for Braintree and Bocking Carnival from 14:30hrs till 16:30hrs on Saturday 7th June 2025.

  • Pierrefitte Way
  • Railway Street
  • Manor Street

Due to the location of the road closures - the 170 service will divert in both directions via the A120 and Cressing Road. To board/alight the 170 service before/after diversion route, please use the following bus stops: King William (on London Road) and Dallwood Way (on Coggeshall Road).

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
