Service 104 | High Street, Manningtree | Road closure

Rowhedge Road, Rowhedge will be closed for roadworks from Monday 23rd September to Monday 21st October 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the S9 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Rowhedge

The S9 service will divert via Fingringhoe Road and Rectory Road. The bus journey will terminate at the turning circle. Passengers will be able to disembark and board the service at the turning circle. 

Towards Colchester

The S9 service is to commence journeys at the turning circle on Rectory Road. The S9 service will divert via Fingringhoe Road before returning to normal line of route on Old Heath Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Cleavelands
• Battleswick Farm
• Shipyard Corner
• Taylor's Road

The Great Dunmow Carnival returns on Saturday 21st September 2024. 

High Street (B1008), Great Dunmow will be closed between 12:00 and 15:00 whilst the event takes place.

Due to the location of the road closure - the X30 service will divert in both directions via Dunmow Bypass (B1256).

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

Langford Road/Holloway Road, Maldon is closed for overnight works on Wednesday 18th September.

The road is to be closed from 19:00hrs and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning (on Thursday 19th September 2024).

73 service - Maldon to Chelmsford - the last timetabled journey on 18/09/2024 will be placed on diversion. All other journeys are completed before the road closure is enforced.

The 73 service will divert after serving Bates Road bus stop by circumnavigating the B1018/B1022 roundabout and returning back along The Causeway and will then divert via Maldon Bypass (A414) and Heybridge Approach (B1018) before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

South Hanningfield Road, South Hanningfield is closed for roadworks from Tuesday 17th September to Monday 23rd September 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure the 13 and 13A services will divert in both directions via Middlemead.

Woodside Way Roundabout, Great Dunmow will be closed for roadworks on a nightly basis from Tuesday 17th September to Monday 23rd September 2024.

The road is to be closed from 20:00hrs each night and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the roadworks the X30 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Stansted Airport

The X30 service will divert, after serving The Queen Victoria bus stop, via Dunmow Bypass (B1256) and the A120 before returning to normal line of route.

Towards Southend-on-Sea

The X30 service will not exit the A120 at Dunmow West Interchange.

The X30 service will divert via the A120, Dunmow South Interchange and Dunmow Bypass (B1256) before returning to normal line of route.

The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

The road is to be closed from 21:00hrs each night and is to re-open from 05:00hrs each morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the 300 and X10 services will be placed on diversion:

The 300 service will not serve Chelmsford Bus Station. Instead the 300 service will terminate at Chelmsford Retail Market bus stop. The journey will wait time and restart service towards Basildon at next scheduled departure from Chelmsford Cathedral bus stop (located on Dukes Street).

The following bus stops will not be served:

• Chelmsford Bus Station

X10

The X10 service will serve all bus stops as normal - however, the service will approach Chelmsford Bus Station from a different direction.

Maldon Road (A414), Danbury will be closed for works, on a nightly basis, from Tuesday 17th September to Saturday 21st September 2024.

The road is to be closed from 19:00hrs each night and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the 31 and 331 services will divert in both directions via Mayes Lane/Penny Royal Road/The Common, Bicknacre Road, White Elm Road, Hyde Lane, Maldon Road and Southend Road (B1418).

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Eves Corner (towards Burnham-on-Crouch only)
• The Avenue
• Runsell Green
• The Royal Oak
• Oak Corner (towards Chelmsford only)

The road is be closed from 20:00hrs each evening and is to re-open from 05:00hrs the next morning.

Due to the location of the road closure the B1 and B2 services will be placed on diversion:

The B1 service will divert in both directions via Florence Way, Mandeville Way and West Mayne.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

B2

The B2 service will divert in both directions via Florence Way, Mandeville Way and West Mayne.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

• Laindon Centre
• Laindon Shopping Centre

A section of Station Road, Little Dunmow will be closed for works from Thursday 12th September to Friday 15th November 2024.

Due to the location of the road closure, the 570 service will be placed on diversion:

Towards Colchester

Service 570 will divert, after serving Homelye Chase bus stop, via Braintree Road/Dunmow Road (B1256), Braintree Road (B1417) and Station Road before turning onto Tanton Road, Flitch Green. Passengers can board the bus on Tanton Road, Flitch Green. The bus will then continue journey back towards Felsted.

The next bus stop will be Mill Road bus stop.

Towards Great Dunmow

Service 570 will divert, after serving Mill Road bus stop, via Tanton Road, Flitch Green. Passengers can disembark the bus on Tanton Road, Flitch Green. The bus will continue journey back towards Felsted.

The next bus stop will be Homelye Chase bus stop.

The following bus stops will not be served (in both directions):

• Braintree Road
• The Flitch of Bacon
• The Moors
• Bramble Lane
• Baynard Avenue
• Tanton Road (bus stop located on Station Road)
