Multiple roads, in South Essex, are closed for Thurrock Cycle Marathon 2025 from 09:30hrs till 12:00hrs on Sunday 8th June 2025.

Due to the location of the road closures - the 100 service will divert in both directions via the B149, Chadwell Hill and Brentwood Road.

To board/alight the 100 service before/after diversion route, please use the following bus stops: The Oak (on Lodge Lane) and Orsett Cock PH (on A1013).

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Socketts Heath Stanford Road
  • Orsett Heath Road
  • Orsett Stanford Road

Please note. there will be a temporary traffic hold at Daneholes Roundabout.

As this is a large event there will likely be minor delays to service due to increased traffic levels in and around the area.

Please allow extra time for your journey.
