Maldon High Street and Market Hill will be closed from 04:00hrs to 20:00hrs and Spital Road will be closed from 13:50hrs to 15:10hrs on Saturday 27th May 2023 due to Ride London event taking place.
Service 31 and all Variants Service 332
Towards Burnham:
Buses will divert via Spital Road, Fambridge Road, Cross Road, Mundon Road to continue line of route. Milton Road will be served as normal.
Towards Chelmsford:
Buses will divert via Mundon Road, Cross Road, Fambridge Road, Spital Road to continue line of route. Milton Road will be served as normal.
Please note: Between 13:50hrs and 15:10hrs Spital road will be closed this will change the diversion for this time period. Please see below diversion:
Towards Burnham:
Buses will divert from Maldon Road, Limebrook Way, Fambridge Road, Cross Road, Mundon Road to continue line of route. Milton Road will be served as normal.
Towards Chelmsford:
Buses will divert via Mundon Road, Cross Road, Fambridge Road, Limebrook Way, Maldon Road to continue line of route. Milton Road will be served as normal.
Service 73
Maldon High street and Market Hill will be closed from 04:00hrs to 20:00hrs and Spital Road will be closed 13:50hrs to 15:10hrs. Heybridge Basin, Goldhanger Road, The Causeway, Maldon Bypass, Heybridge approach, Langford Road, Hatfield Road and Ulting Road will all be closed at various points of the day.

Departures from Chelmsford towards Heybridge /Maldon cherry gardens
- 10:15hrs will divert from Heybridge Approach right into Maldon Bypass left Spital Road into Cherry Gardens ( Service will not serve Tesco Causeway, Goldhanger Heybridge Basin, Market hill or Maldon High street)Customers for Heybridge to remain on the bus to Cherry Gardens and alight on return trip which will serve Heybridge Basin
- 12:15hrs will terminate at Hatfield Peverel. Service will not serve Maldon Road, Ulting, Hatfield Road, Langford, Heybridge Approach, Tesco The Causeway, Gold hanger, Heybridge basin Maldon High Street, Market Hill and Cherry Gardens.
- 14:15hrs will go in service will wait for the road in Ulting to be reopened it will then serve Maldon Tesco and divert via Maldon Bypass to Cherry gardens. Service will not serve the Causeway, Goldhanger, Heybridge Basin Maldon on this trip. Customers for Heybridge to remain on the bus to Cherry Gardens and alight on return trip which will serve Heybridge Basin
Departures from Heybridge /Maldon cherry gardens to Chelmsford towards
- 11:25hrs will divert via Spital Road to Maldon bypass, Tesco Maldon, Heybridge Basin to continue line of route to Chelmsford. Service will not be able to serve Market Hill or Maldon high street.
- 13:25hrs will start at Hatfield Peverel. Service will not serve Maldon Road, Ulting, Hatfield Road, Heybridge Approach Tesco, the Causeway, Goldhanger, Heybridge Basin#, Maldon High Street, Market Hill or Cherry Gardens.
- 15:30hrs will divert via Spital Road, Maldon bypass, Maldon Tesco, The causeway Goldhanger, Heybridge basin. Service will not serve Maldon high street or Market hill but will service Langford Ulting to continue line of route.
Service 75
Please note: Service 75 will divert from 04:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 20:00hrs. We will not be able to serve Tesco and High Street bus stops during these timings.
Towards Maldon:
Buses will divert via The Causeway by Blackwater retail park, A414, Morrisons roundabout for Limebrook Way (B1018) and will terminate at the Leisure Centre.
Towards Colchester:
Buses will divert via Park Drive, Mill Road, Mundon Road, Limebrook Way (B1018), then will follow the diversion above in reverse back to The Causeway, Heybridge for line of route.
The Causeway, Heybridge will be closed between 12:00 to 15:00hrs. Buses will terminate in Wood Road Estate, Heybridge at bus stop Ash Grove and depart from this terminus towards Colchester between these times.
Birch Area: Rolling Road closures between the hours of 11:57 - 12:06hrs. Please be aware that service 75 will need to wait a short time for the rolling road closures to be lifted.
