The Colchester Half Marathon is taking place on Sunday 8th March 2026.

Whilst the event is in progress, traffic management will be enforced to ensure the safety of all event participants:

Colchester High Street will be closed from 09:00 to 10:30hrs. 

Due to the location of the event - multiple services will experience delays - this will disrupt services in South, Mid and North Essex. Please continue to check this page as we will continue to add information in the lead-up to the event.

Due to the location of the road closures, the following services will be placed on diversion and will be unable to serve* bus stops on Head Street and High Street. *This is dependant on diversion routes*
