Writtle Road and The Green, Writtle is closed for overnight roadworks from 03/08/2026 to 05/08/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the C5 will divert in both directions via Forest Road, Waterhouse Lane, Westway, Greenbury Way (A414) and Bullimers Way, terminating and departing at the roundabout on Bullimers way.

The nearest stops will be Writtle: roundabout on Bullimers Way/ Ongar Road and Westlands Estate: Harewood Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
