Stock Road, Billericay is closed for roadworks from 08/01/2026 - 09/01/2026.

Due to the location of the roadworks; the 9 and 300 services will be placed on diversion:

Towards Brentwood: The 9 service will divert via Chapel Street, A129, Mountnessing Road and Radford Way before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • Sun Corner
  • The Chequers

Towards Basildon: The service will divert, after serving Billericay Railway Station, via Radford Way, Mountnessing Road, the A129, Laindon Road, the A176 and the A129 before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • The Chequers
  • Hillside Road

Towards Chelmsford: The 300 service will divert via the A129, Mountnessing Road and Radford Way before serving Billericay Railway Station. The 300 service will then resume diversion via Radford Way, Perry Street and Orchard Avenue before returning to normal line of route on Stock Road. The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • Sun Corner
  • The Chequers
  • St John's School
  • Headley Road
  • Bush Hall Stores

Towards Basildon: The 300 service will divert via Orchard Avenue, Perry Street and Radford Way before serving Billericay Railway Station. The 300 service will then resume diversion via Radford Way, Mountnessing Road, the A129, Laindon Road, the A176 and the A129 before returning to normal line of route. The following bus stops will not be served: 

  • Bush Hall Stores
  • Headley Road
  • St John's School
  • The Chequers
  • Hillside Road
  • Chapel Street
  • Weir Wynd
