Roxwell Road, Chelmsford is closed for overnight roadworks from 24/04/2026 to 02/05/2026.

*This is a timed road closure: the road will be closed nightly between 20:00hrs and 05:00hrs*

Due to the location of the road closure - the 59 service will divert in both directions via Waterhouse Lane, Writtle Road/Chelmsford Road//The Green and Lordship Road.

The following bus stop will not be served in both directions:

  • Rose & Crown
  • Admirals Park
  • Highfield Road
  • Chignal Corner
  • Lordship Road (towards Chelmsford only)
