*SERVICE DISRUPTION 16/01/2026* Due to flooding at Birds Green - the 46 service is unable to use their pre-planned diversion. The 46 service is now operating as follows:

The 46 service will divert in both directions via Boyton Cross Lane, the A1060 and B184 until further notice.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Shellow Bowells
  • Torrel's Hall Cottages
  • Willingale Playing Fields
  • The Maltsters Arms
  • The Queens Head

*Please allow extra time for your journey - as delays are likely to occur due to length of diversion*

Fyfield Road, Willingale, Ongar is closed for roadworks. The permit's end date is: 16 Jan 23:59 GMT

Due to the location of the road closure - the 46 service will divert in both directions via Dukes Lane, Birds Green, School Lane and Dunmow Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:
