Southminster Road, Althorne is closed for daily roadworks from 12/06/2026 to 24/06/2026.

*This is a timed road closure*

  • Monday to Friday - the road will be closed between 10:00hrs and 15:00hrs
  • Saturday - the road will be closed between 08:00hrs and 17:00hrs

Due to the location of the road closure - the 31 / 331 will divert in both directions via Green Lane, Highlands Hill, Foxhall Road, B1021 and Queenborough Road.

The following bus stops will not be served in both directions:

  • Althorne Post Office
  • The Old School House
  • Southfield Way
  • Steeple Road Corner
  • Devonshire Road
